I am not a regular user of the Chitika online advertising network. Before implementing Adsense I was using the Chitika ad network as my main monetizing machine on this blog.
But nowadays (around two months) I'm using one code of Chitika in my blog again and it has brought me a gold level approval from Chitika.
I'm very much surprised to see Chitika CPM after getting gold approval. At the beginning it was heard to receive more than $0.04 for each click on Chitika. But, now I'm receiving almost $0.20 for each click (outside USA and Canada) on the Chitika ads.
I had never done any special to get approved for the Chitika gold level ads except totally focusing on blogging and keywords research. I've always targeted search engines rather than referral traffic. And today I've more than 90% of visitor from search engines.
Many people has claimed that Chitika never gives a high click through rate while they are generating over 20-50 clicks (even more) on Chitika ads every day.
But, it is not true that Chitika never gives high CTR. You should always remember that the Chitika is a search targeted advertising system that delivers high CTR ads only for the visitors from US/CA search engines. It is not perfectly working for referral and direct traffics. So, use Chitika only when you have much US/CA organic traffic.

- Get more visitors from search engines.
- Should have useful contents using proper keywords.
- Much visitors from US/CA search engines.
- Wait at last three month.
