Quikr, OLX Paid Advertising May Not Deliver Much Traffic To Your Business Website

The classified sites like Quikr and OLX are the largest  online classified network in India and also in the World. Today, almost every classified advertisers are using these classified giants to advertise their products or services to get better response from the local online market. 


It is simply amazing because, customers can contact sellers through phone numbers and email address given in the ads. Therefor, people like to post paid ads on these sites to attract more customer to their products in a hurry.

But, unfortunately these types classified sites may not be the perfect place ( for paid advertising) to drive web traffic to a particular website. Here, people can sell their products within an hour by posting an ad, but it is very hard to drive a decent traffics to another site from here. 

We've posted a few paid ads on the Quikr and Clickindia to promote our classified site couple of months ago. But, unfortunately we had not received a decent amount of traffic from there. We thought that there might be some mistake done by us. So, a few weeks ago, again we posted a few paid ads on the Quikr by changing category, ad style, picture and description. But, again we got the same results. 


So, finally we've made the decision to stop advertising on site like Quikr to promote our site. We also believe that no one can drive traffic back from the Quikr paid ads.

Here some expected reasons-

1. The classified site like Quikr, OLX is mainly designed to promote public products and services.
2. Here people mainly doing buying and selling.
3. Your ads must have a price to attract Quicker, OLX users. You must sell something to get the perfect results.

So, this type of classified sites is only to get physical customers not for online customers!
